The Valvelink range of Gate Valves includes Brass, Bronze, Stainless Steel and Cast-Iron body options. The Gate Valve is also commonly referred to as a Sluice Valve. The Gate or Wedge of the Valve is positioned at 90 Degrees to the flow which is operated by a hand wheel or key cap which lowers and raises the gate from an open to closed position.
Gate Valves are designed to fully open and close once installed and should not be used for flow control or throttling.
